Responsibility at B|G|O is not defined by a single moment. It shows in a continued presence, in the emergencies that demand immediate action, and in the ordinary needs of everyday life.
After the January 2010 earthquake, B|G|O founded Haiti Recovery Group with the U.S. firm AshBritt, putting more than $30 million of its own heavy equipment into clearing and processing debris, alongside environmental services, material salvage, and logistics. HRG remains the largest undertaking of its kind B|G|O has led, and it set the pattern for what came after.
That capacity was called on again. When Hurricane Matthew struck in 2016, food and health kits reached families across the affected regions. In 2020, the pandemic brought a different kind of crisis, and six B|G|O companies responded together with testing capacity and soap distributed nationwide. After the 2021 earthquake in the south, the same effort added sanitation goods for households cut off from basic services.
The record continues between emergencies. A new roof for the church in Minoterie in 2014. Packages reached 300 Haitian mothers over two Mother’s Days. School supplies for 250 children in Cité Soleil in September 2021. 50 computers for Educare in 2025, and the students learning on them.
In 2025, B|G|O extended that record to sports, becoming an official partner of Haiti’s national under-17 team. A year later, it signed a two-year agreement with the Fédération Haïtienne de Football, extending the same backing to the federation itself.
In 2026, B|G|O also sponsored the Haitian Consulate’s presence at Notting Hill Carnival in London, giving Haitian artists a place at one of Europe’s largest street festivals and strengthening ties with the diaspora.
This continuity is deliberate. Integrity is one of the principles B|G|O holds itself to, and it governs more than how the company conducts business. It extends to what B|G|O owes the places where it operates, through the years when Haiti is rebuilding and the years when it is not.

For B|G|O, this comes with being rooted in Haiti. It means staying, mobilizing when the moment demands it, and continuing to contribute to the country the company has grown alongside for generations.
